So much to talk about!
And boy are they both talking! Jack is full questions, when, who, what, and especially WHY are constantly being asked! Olive is saying about 30 to 40 words so of her favorites are:
"I want down"
"I want out"
"No"
"Pretty"
"Baby"
"Stinky"
We recently vacationed in Cancun, Mexico. The kids had a blast and so did we. Jack made a ton of new friends (even a 7 year old). Olive even tried to be one of the big kids and was always trying to fit in.
Jack did a great job swimming but will do much better once he decides he can get his head wet. Olive, on the other hand, has no fear and would walk straight into the ocean if we let her.
These two definitely keep us busy. They are full of energy from the minute they get out of bed to the time we make them go to bed. They are so much fun and have so much personality, although they couldn't be more different.

Getting Ready for Christmas
Apparently, these two keep us very busy as we barely have time to update the website.
Jack is getting so big and is certainly leading the way for his little sister. He is attending preschool 3 at Saint Luke's Academy. According to his teacher, Ms. Ortiz, Jack is hungry to learn which probably means there is a lot of "why's". He is also making a lot of friends. His best friend is Jason who happens to have been born about 1 hour before Jack. A weird coincidence but our doctor even delivered both boys.
Olive is not a baby anymore. Her personality has emerged and she is very girly. She loves her shoes, barrettes, and purses and knows that she is "pretty". She is also very bossy! She loves her big brother and wants to do everything that he does. She lights up when Jack pays attention to her.
They love each other but they also fight like any brother and sister. One day Olive was screaming with excitement in the car and Jack exclaimed, "Olive, you are HURTING my nerves!". Sometimes they both hurt my nerves :-)
Christmas is just around the corner and the kids are full of the Christmas spirit. Jack has sat on Santa's lap and there were NO tears. He was sure to let him know that he wanted a dump truck and toys. Olive did not like Santa but she LOVES the Christmas tree. We don't have any ornaments on the bottom 3 feet of the tree!
